About 100 In 1 Day Halifax

100In1Day is a growing global movement that is changing how people interact with their cities. Originating in Bogotá, Colombia in 2012, it has encouraged hundreds of small-scale, community-based initiatives or interventions in cities around the world including Montreal, Santiago, and Cape Town.

On June 4, 2016 Halifax is striving to feature 100+ urban interventions all on one day. . Leading up to the day CoLab and Evergreen seek to inspire citizens to pilot their city changing ideas with the intention that some of these ideas will be able to foster lasting change. Last year these ideas ranged from street art and urban gardens to beautification projects, social events, and improvements in city infrastructure. These citizen-led actions build a stronger sense of community and more resilient neighbourhoods. Check out our blog to keep up to date on this year's event as it unfolds.

100In1Day is presented by:
Co*Lab; a Halifax based social change agency.
&
Evergreen; a national not-for-profit organization that makes cities more liveable.
